Who can enter the Costume Gallery Hollywood Comps and register for the SourceDance Workshops?
Everyone who loves to dance can enter the competitions and workshops. We welcome dance studios, school groups, hip hop crews, community groups, independent dancers....anyone who loves to dance and wants to showcase their performances and talent and/or learn from some of the hottest choreographers from Hollywood.

What ages can participate in the Competition?
COMPETITION AGE DIVISIONS: Contestants will compete in the following divisions: 
5-8yrs, 9-12yrs, 13-15yrs, 16-21 and 22 & up in the preliminary competition. 

For the finals, the age divisions will be as follows:
SOLOS JRS:  5-12yrs                     
SOLOS SRS:  13-21yrs
DUOS/TRIOS JRS:  5-12yrs               
DUOS/TRIOS SRS:  13-21yrs
GROUPS – JRS:  5-12yrs                 
GROUPS – SRS:  13-21yrs
GROUPS – Over 21

Please explain the fees for the convention.
If you want to register for the full 2 day SOURCEDANCE convention, the fees are as follows:
$195.00AU if you register and pay on or BEFORE August 1, 2010.
$225.00AU if you register and pay AFTER August 1,2010.
$169.00AU if you register and pay on or BEFORE August 1, 2010 AND you have entered three (3) SOLOS for the competition. (Payment for the three SOLOS must also be received on or BEFORE August 1, 2010, to be eligible for this rate)

Can you email me the registration forms?
** YES!! You can request for the various registration forms and rules to be emailed to you.
Click on the "Email Me Registration Forms" link below and select the event for which you wish to have forms emailed to you and then select the forms (one at a time) to be emailed. You will need to input your email address and then click SUBMIT. Please be advised that your email address will be added to the SOURCEDANCE News & Updates mailing list. Thereafter, you will have the ability to "unsubscribe" from the mailing list, should you decide to do so at a later date, after you have received your first News Update. Do I have to be registered for the convention to enter the competition?
The answer is NO.
You do not have to be registered for the convention, to be a competitor.
However, the purpose of the competition and workshops is to make you a better dancer.
It is an incredible opportunity for you to get to work with such an incredible faculty.
In addition....please understand that if you are registered for the competition, however
you HAVE NOT registered for the full 2 day convention, then you WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE
for the Hollywood Tour Prize.

Do I have to be registered for the competition to participate in the Convention Workshops?
The answer is NO.
You do not have to be registered for the competition, to be able to register for and participate
in the convention workshops. We want everyone to have the opportunity to get to work with
our incredible faculty.

What level of workshops should I register for?
** Class levels are either "Beginner / Intermediate" or "Advanced / Professional" and the registrant will be required to make their own selection of the class level they wish to register for, based on their personal determination of their dance ability & confidence level. If you are unsure, the best idea is to ask your teacher – he/she will know your ability. If you are still unsure – register for the level you feel most comfortable with. If, during the first class (only) of the workshops – you think you are in the wrong level – just let us know and you can change at that time. You can also switch around if space is available – maybe you are advanced in jazz but you are in the beginner/intermediate level for Hip Hop. You can move around during the workshops. We want you to get the most out of the event.
